Grief Support & Family Healing
Grief does not end with the funeral. We stay with families through the hard months that follow, offering a steady presence and someone who will listen.

What We Do
Lucky's Love Foundation is built on steady, practical care — the kind that shows up long after the headlines move on.
Walking beside families through the long months after loss — with compassion, practical help, and room to remember.
Opening the conversation about mental health, reducing stigma, and pointing families toward the support they deserve.
Building safer communities before a tragedy, through awareness, education, and honest conversation.
Connecting young people with caring adults who encourage their goals, their studies, and their confidence.
Our Story
Lucky’s Love Foundation carries the name and the spirit of Jaderian Malik “Lucky” Bush. Founded by Tequila Bush-Jones, the foundation turns a family’s grief into steady support for other families, and into opportunity for young people who need someone in their corner.
We believe healing is possible, that a safe home and an honest conversation can change a life, and that no family should have to walk this road alone.

Our Programs
From grief support to mentorship and prevention, every program is designed to meet families where they are.
Grief does not end with the funeral. We stay with families through the hard months that follow, offering a steady presence and someone who will listen.
Healing the heart and the mind belong together. We work to open the conversation about mental health in our community and to reduce the stigma that keeps people silent.
Safer communities are built before a tragedy, not only after one. Our prevention work centers on awareness, education, and protecting the people we love. Orange accents throughout this site are worn in recognition of gun violence awareness.
Young people thrive when someone believes in them. Our mentorship connects youth with caring adults who encourage their goals, their studies, and their confidence.
Scholarships
Scholarship support paired with real mentorship for students pursuing medical careers and the masonry trades — two paths that build strong, lasting futures. Students are encouraged, guided, and helped with the costs of their training.
Community & Events
Our gatherings bring neighbors together for remembrance, awareness, and support. Event details are shared on our Instagram and by phone or email — reach out any time for what is coming next.
